The placement comes via Songswav, whose curators pick tracks for the list. What makes this one useful is its reach: New Indie is published simultaneously on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube — so listeners meet the song on whichever service they already use.
It has been a good run for the track’s label-mate catalogue: AK’s “Kya Yahi Pyar Hai” picked up radio play on Chennai Live and 91.9 Friends FM earlier this summer, and K-R8’s “NaMaH” landed two Spotify playlists in a single week. “Tum Ho To” — the quietest song in AK’s catalogue, five minutes of unhurried acoustic indie-pop — now finds its own room.
