Brand Guidelines — v1.0 — July 2026

DYNMX Records

Beyond genres, beyond boundaries. This document defines how DYNMX looks, sounds and behaves — on the website, on streaming platforms, in press, and everywhere else the label shows up.

01 — Essence

One label, many worlds

DYNMX Records is a multi-genre independent label. The brand's job is to hold wildly different artists — acoustic indie-pop, progressive techno, devotional, trap, ghazal, K-style pop — inside one confident, monochrome frame. The label is the gallery; the artists are the color.

That principle drives every rule in this document: the brand stays obsidian and quiet so the music and cover art can be loud.

02 — Logo

The seal and the wordmark

DYNMX Records logo on dark
Primary — white on Black
DYNMX Records logo on light
Inverse — black on Pewter
  • Keep clearspace around the logo of at least the height of the "D".
  • Use the monochrome seal alone as an avatar or favicon.
  • Recolor, add gradients or effects, or place the logo over busy artwork without a scrim.
  • Stretch, rotate or restyle the wordmark's letterforms.
03 — Color

The palette

Four monochrome steps. Black dominates (~80% of any composition), Ebony structures, Gray speaks quietly, Pewter highlights. There is no brand accent color — accents belong to releases, not to the label.

Gray#8C8C8C · rgb(140 140 140)
Pewter#D6D6D6 · rgb(214 214 214)

Release accents

Every release carries one accent color extracted from its cover art. It may tint glows, hovers and player highlights on that release's surfaces only — never in label-level materials. Examples from the current catalog:

system monospace
  • Write artist and release names exactly as registered: AK, K-R8, Kaif, Stuti Naad, ORYZO, Pixie Trash, Sofie Daze.
  • Apply uppercase/lowercase transforms to any artist or release name. Case transforms are for UI labels only.
05 — Voice

Say less, mean it

  • Short declaratives. Confidence without hype: "Out now everywhere." beats "We are SO excited to announce…"
  • Let numbers and placements speak plainly (press posts read like news, not ads).
  • On the AI question: one calm sentence of disclosure where it belongs (About page, press boilerplate) — "Our artists are virtual, brought to life through AI-assisted production under human creative direction."
  • Exclamation marks, emoji chains, engagement-bait questions, or "AI-powered" as a selling point.
06 — Art direction

Imagery

  • Cover art: square, minimum 1000×1000 (3000×3000 for distribution), strong single subject, colors welcome — the site frame is monochrome so art provides the color.
  • Artist portraits: square, minimum 1000×1000, cinematic photographic treatment, near-black backgrounds, one signature color per artist.
  • Roster identity tiers — vary the subject, never the craft: personas show faces (Pixie Trash, Sofie Daze), anonymous figures never do (AK, K-R8, ORYZO), marks & symbols replace figures entirely (Kaif's calligraphy, Stuti Naad's diya). Each artist's device must stay consistent across all their future covers and promos.
  • Preview clips: exactly 30 seconds, loudness-normalized to −14 LUFS, chosen from the most engaging section of the track — never default to the intro.
  • Borders, watermarks or logos baked into cover art.
07 — Digital components

The interface kit

As shipped on dynmxrecords.com — reuse, don't reinvent.

Primary action Secondary action Genre chip Platform link
  • Pills for actions, chips for taxonomy, glass blur for overlays on artwork.
  • Motion: subtle and functional (fades, blur-ins, slow drift). Respect reduced-motion preferences always.
  • Introduce new component shapes, borders or shadows without updating this document.
08 — Applications

Boilerplate

One-liner: DYNMX Records — an independent, multi-genre music label. Beyond genres, beyond boundaries.

Press boilerplate: DYNMX Records is an independent music label releasing across indie-pop, electronic, devotional, hip-hop and experimental music. Its artists are virtual — brought to life through AI-assisted production under human creative direction — and every release is available on all major streaming platforms. Press & demos: business@dynmxrecords.com.

Share links: always share dynmxrecords.com URLs (artist or release pages), never platform URLs — every DYNMX page previews the music and routes listeners to their own platform.
